In addition to our own gigs, Ron and I undertake readings, workshops and teacher training together.

When we do readings, Ron usually kicks off the event with poetry, then I read some prose stories or excerpts from novels and he concludes with more prose or poetry. This is often followed by a Q & A session, which can cover the texts we have read, writing in general or even the thrills and spills of being two writers living and working together. The whole event lasts about an hour. But we are flexible and open to suggestions. We can do more, or less. Whatever.

We have been told that our events are good fun!

Lizzie's Literary Life August 2010

Thurgauer Zeitung (Switzerland), 27 March 2010

West Dunbartonshire Literature Festival: Booked! 2007 (Scotland)

St Galler Tagblatt for Thurgau (Switzerland), 18 Sept. 1999

"The event was a great success – the English teachers had read several short stories with 5th-semester classes in advance, and the students found the opportunity to meet and ask questions of the two authors very stimulating. The students were particularly intrigued by Regi's Swiss connection and the fact that she writes in a language that is not her native tongue, and Ron has an infectious humour (both in his writing and in person) that went down very well indeed." Martin Bott, Kantonale Maturitätsschule für Erwachsene, Zurich, Nov. 2009
